We're Always Small Batch and Always Scratch
Real butter, cream, and sugar. Our desserts are made the traditional way and intended to be treats. We don't do low-fat or low-sugar. We also don't use mixes, artificial preservatives or ingredients that we can't pronounce.
We don't ship because our intention is to serve our local community, baking in small batches, from scratch, with real, fresh and local ingredients.
Because we bake to order, we don't fill a retail case with cakes, pies or cookies waiting for someone to walk in and take them home. This means that everything we make is fresh. It also means our customers have to plan ahead and order in advance.
We're a local bakery, serving Estero, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Three Oaks and South Fort Myers.

Baking has always been part of our lives. We remember the excitement of choosing our favorite apron from Grandma's pantry, gathering eggs from the hen house, little hands scooping flour into the mixing bowl and helping to stir the batter.
We still use many of those same recipes because there's no point in changing something that's already pretty perfect.
Sharing our love of baking is why we started Miss Mae's Bakehouse and we hope that in some small way, we're able to take you back to the taste memories of your childhood... the chocolate cake you enjoyed at your mother's kitchen table... the first bite of a cookie still warm from the oven... the deliciousness of your aunt's butterscotch pie... all made simply to bring joy.
